Who We Are

​​​​​​​​​Sapura Navegação Marítima is a Brazilian Shipping Company, a joint venture between two international key players in their markets, Seadrill and Sapura Energy.

​​We are one of the leading subsea services players in the Brazilian market, ​​with six support, installation and flexible pipe laying vessels  (Diamante, Topázio, Ônix, Jade, Esmeralda and Rubi​) and other vessel projected for passengers and transport of dry cargo (Tro​picaliente). A current workforce encompassing more than 900 professionals, with 23 different nationalities.

In Brazil, we are headquartered in downtown Rio de Janeiro, but we also have offices in Caxias and Macaé. Through our shareholders, we have a global presence in over 20 countries including England, Malaysia, China, Australia, Singapore, the USA and the Middle East.

 

Sapura Energy


SapuraKencana Energy Berhad (Sapura Energy) is a full-fledged upstream player and one of the world’s largest integrated oil and gas services and solutions providers. SapuraKencana’s full spectrum of capabilities covers the entire value chain of exploration, development, production, rejuvenation, and decommissioning and abandonment. With a multinational workforce comprising 51 nationalities and over 13,000 people, comprehensive world-class assets and project management capabilities, the Group’s global presence can be seen in over 20 countries, including Malaysia, China, Australia, Brazil, the United States of America, West Africa, and the Middle East.​

Seadrill


Seadrill is one of the world leaders in offshore deepwater drilling. Its aim is to unlock oil and gas for the benefit of its customers and their customers in the safest, most efficient manner possible. The Company operates a versatile fleet of 68 rigs that comprises drillships, jack-ups, semi-submersibles and tender rigs for operations in shallow to ultra-deepwater areas, in both harsh and benign environments.
